In the halcyon days before the “Great Experiment” of prohibition, American breweries produced a fuller bodied hoppy treat now known as Classic American Pilsner. The Monks take on this classic beer is to use malt, corn, noble German hops and the very same yeast from the ancient Augustiner brewery that we used in our Oktoberfest. Full and hoppy but with a refreshing dry finish this is the perfect beer for a tailgate party or just watching the game on the tube.
